EV Charger Installation in Utah
Level 2 charger install with permit and inspection. Most Utah homes need a 240V circuit pulled fresh.
The short version
Here's how we do it.
Level 2 charger install with permit and inspection. Most Utah homes need a 240V circuit pulled fresh.
A Level 2 charger (240V, 40 to 60 amp) charges most EVs in 4 to 8 hours overnight. We install Tesla Wall Connectors, ChargePoint, Wallbox, and any hardwired or NEMA 14-50 unit you bring. The install is more than just the outlet, we evaluate panel capacity, run the dedicated circuit, set the breaker correctly for the charger's continuous load, and pull the permit.
If your panel doesn't have capacity for a 50A circuit, we'll quote the panel upgrade and EV install together. Rocky Mountain Power offers rebates on qualifying installs, we handle the paperwork.
What's included
Every job, no upsell surprises.
Most Level 2 installs run $850 to $2,200, depending on panel-to-garage distance and any panel work. Add a panel upgrade ($2,800+) only if capacity is short. 0% financing for 12 months.
