Water Softeners in Utah

Utah's water averages 18+ grains of hardness. A softener pays back in appliance lifespan.

The short version

Here's how we do it.

Utah's water averages 18+ grains of hardness. A softener pays back in appliance lifespan.

Utah's water runs 15 to 25 grains per gallon, hard enough to cut water heater life in half, scale up faucets and shower heads, and leave that white film on glass shower doors no squeegee fully removes. A properly sized softener pays for itself in water heater longevity alone, before you count the dishwasher, washing machine, and tankless heat exchanger.

We size based on household size and actual grain hardness, not a sticker on the box. We install metered softeners that only regenerate when capacity is used, which cuts salt and water waste vs. timer-based units. For homes with iron in the well water (parts of Heber, Kamas, and Eagle Mountain), we add a pre-filter so the resin bed stays healthy.

What's included

Every job, no upsell surprises.

Standard installs $1,400 to $2,400. Add $400 to $800 if we're plumbing a new softener loop. Iron pre-filters add $350 to $800. 0% financing for 12 months.
